I am a qualified and fully registered Osteopath, having completed a five year osteopathy degree (B.Ost Hons). I got into osteopathy after spending much of my adult life rehabbing myself from low back and knee injuries. Osteopathy has given me the tools to stay injury free (most of the time!) and look after myself when the inevitable happens. I’m thrilled to be bringing this to the High Peak community.
Healthcare is full of people promising quick fixes or prescribing lengthy courses of treatment. I believe in a different approach. While hands-on treatment can be valuable in the early stages, lasting improvement comes from understanding your condition and having the right advice, education and rehabilitation programme tailored to you. My aim isn't to keep you coming back for appointments, but to give you the knowledge and confidence to take control of your own recovery.
I treat a wide range of people from all walks of life; the majority of my patients are just regular people with regular aches and pains! I also work closely with many sports people from power lifters and crossfitters to Hyroxers, runners, combat athletes and horse riders.
